Lymphedema Awareness Month Tips: It’s a Lifestyle

I’m going to round off the month with this last tip (but there will be more blog posts and more info on my online course really soon).

Managing your lymphoedema is something that CAN be achieved, if you’ve got the right lifestyle – stay with me:

Go back through the other 8 tips and see what you can fit into your daily routine to help you keep any swelling at bay or under control.

One visit to an MLD therapist per month, or even per week in some cases, is not going to change your life or your lymphoedema.

The clients that do well in the longer term are the ones that have accepted what’s happening in their body and take ownership of their own wellbeing. I can’t stress this enough.

I love seeing my regulars in my clinic and online, of course, but I also want you to be able to manage WITHOUT me at some point.

You know, like when there is a lockdown or you’re too busy to make time for an appointment, what then? You don’t need to suffer if you have a daily routine to help you keep on top of things. No stress, no drama, just simple, sustainable changes to your lifestyle that WORK and that give you back the control.

I hope you’ve found these tips helpful, please do tag or share to help others too.

If you’d like to discuss in more detail we can arrange an online or tutorial and if you’re keen to hear more about my online course, which will teach you all this, and more, in greater detail, get in touch to put your name on the contact list.
